Statement of Christian Values

Jesus said “Love one another as I have loved you.” John 13:34-35

As a Church of England Primary school based on Christian foundations we aim to follow the teachings of Jesus by developing these core values and demonstrating them in all that we do:

  •  through developing bonds across our school community as we work and play and care for each other
  • through understanding the importance of trust, telling the truth and forgiveness

“Encourage one another and build each other up.”   Thessalonians 5:11

Love and compassion as by showing how much we care for others by supporting them and praying for them

“Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Colossians 3:12

Respect by valuing everyone as individuals, celebrating similarities and differences and all that they bring to our school community

“Do to others as you would have them do to you?” Matthew 7:12

Perseverance through striving to do our best and working happily together as a team

“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
