Our Intent 

At Meysey Hampton, our high-quality computing curriculum aims to give our learners the skills, confidence and enthusiasm they need to embrace new technology in safe and socially responsible ways.  We want our pupils to be competent in processing and know how to make the most of online opportunities.   Welcoming and inclusive of learners of all abilities, we want computing to support and enrich the learning across the entire curriculum. We believe that computing skills are important tools for our rural school setting as they have the power to bring the wider world to our doorstep.  We want our pupils to develop their understanding of themselves as members of a wider global community, as well as individuals within their community and mindful digital citizens. It is our aim for our children to flourish as digitally literate, independent users of technology who enjoy computing and value the opportunities it presents.
