Our Phonics Intent

At Meysey Hampton C of E Primary School we strive to give every child the confidence and skills to become happy, fluent readers, who enjoy reading for pleasure. We prioritise the teaching of phonics to ensure that children have sound phonic knowledge, understanding and skills so that they can decode words confidently.
